Andre Iguodala signed a 6 year, $80 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2008. Though the details of the contracts, i.e., how much he is getting paid each year, aren’t widely known, there has been some information released or speculated on. Two websites have listed his salary for the years between 2011 and 2014 as the following.
Site: 1: 2011-$12,345,250; 2012-$14,859,500; 2013-$16,046,000; 2014-$17,232,500
Site: 2: 2011- $12,300,000; 2012-$13.500,000; 2013-$14.700,000; 2014- $15.900,000
The above Andre Iguodala salary listings are not identical but they are pretty close. Whether or not, Iguodala makes 13,500,000 or $14,859,500 in 2012 he still makes a great deal of money, much more than most of us will in our lifetime. Though, it might be difficult to know exactly how much Andre Iguodala makes every year, what is known is that he has a 6 year, $80 million contract, the details of how that contract is broken down is where things get a little fuzzy, at least for us on the outside.
Even though, Iguodala’s contract is for 6 years, it doesn’t look like he will be playing it out to completion in Philly. There has been talk that he wont’ be with the team much longer. He is ready to move on and 76ers apparently are ready to go in a different direction.
