The fact that some sort of Andre Iguodala trades will go down seems inevitable. Iguodala is being paid too much money while not quite producing enough to stick around. Though Iggy is relatively young, the team is looking to go even younger, building their team on youth and not veterans. With $54 million left to go on his contract, the Philadelphia 76ers are looking to clear cap room so that they can rebuild.

There has been a lot of talk concerning Andre Iguodala trades. Because almost everyone thinks that he will undoubtedly be shipped out, much of the talk has centered around where he will end up. Earlier in the season, there were rumors that the Cleveland Cavaliers, the New York Knicks and the Houston Rockets were interested. Now, whispers about him being involved in some type of trade involving the 76ers and Dallas are getting louder.

The fact that Iggy might end up in Dallas isn’t super shocking. Every basketball fan knows that Mark Cuban isn’t exactly shy when it comes to pulling the trigger, bringing in new players or making large trades. Depending on whom the 76ers get in return, this could be a good trade. The Mavericks would be getting a solid player with some experience that can provide some extra scoring and take some of the load off of Dirk.
